Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts typically cover 100% of service costs. However, because CPT code 99429 and our service is considered "elective" and an educational and preventive service, most insurance plans will not cover. (Less than 10% of our clients receive insurance reimbursement, and then, only with insurance plans that include "out-of-network" and non-standard-of-care benefits.)  Please be sure to view/print the "Insurance Coverage" form included in the e-mail we provide when you schedule your appointment for assistance in communicating with your insurance provider.

As an elective service and a fee-for-service, we ask that clients pay at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and checks. (Checks are restricted to Front Range residents). (A four-month payment plan is available, but is restricted to Front Range residents. Checks must be provided at the time of service and a one-time only handling fee of $7.50 applies.)

While we can customize imaging to meet your needs, here are the most popular imaging requests: (Note that a "Series" is not a series of imaging sessions over time, but a series of images obtained in a single imaging session.)

Includes full spine view, abdominal view, anterior neck view, and 6 face/oral views/images printed in grayscale, reversed grayscale, and in color with interpretive report. These views are where the stomach, liver, gall bladder, colon, small intestines, bladder, uterus, cervix, ovaries, full spine, kidneys, lungs, pancreas, spleen, thyroid, parathyroid, carotid arteries, sinus/oral, teeth, and more may reflect.

* Clients most often choose this series because they are experiencing symptoms or simply as a non-invasive means of obtaining potential early warning signs and information relevant to their state of health. In it's eleventh year of service, The Thermogram Center's Risk Assessing Thermal Imaging reveals signs that may be life threatening, i.e. hypervascularity when it is associated with cancer. However, a more common yet significant sign may include findings consistent with dental infection, which can be invisible to dental x-ray, but extremely relevant to bodily health. When significant signs are visible, further evaluation of suspect conditions with the client's doctor is recommended. (Community Resource Sheets are available to clients for use in finding doctors, dentists, and functional medicine specialists in their local community.)

Most often, because of the sensitivity of the camera, thermal imaging may reveal signs suggesting stress, irritation, inflammation, infection, or congestion... which may occur without symptoms (and be subclinical). For instance, most of us hold tension/stress in our back muscles, so muscular irritation is commonplace. In other words, most of the time, this series delivers "nice to know" information about the functioning of the body. When findings are consistent with potential risk factors, then risk factor education and management is recommended with qualified health professionals/functional medicine specialists.

Note: Since not all health conditions present thermally, thermal imaging should not be used as a stand alone test. Similarly, the absence of thermal findings cannot rule out significant health conditions.
